Jake Bugg and Albert Hammond Jr. are hitting the road together next month. The Strokes guitarist has signed on to Bugg's upcoming North American tour, which is scheduled to start January 9th in Baltimore.
The 19-year-old British rocker will be out supporting his sophomore effort Shangri La, which just arrived last month. The record put an exclamation point on Bugg's busy 2013, which also saw the release of his self-titled debut in the U.S., a spot on the U.K.'s Mercury Prize shortlist, and a performance at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Norway.
Hammond, meanwhile, is already on the road in Europe touring behind his latest EP, "AHJ." It's his first solo trek in years, and he hopes to keep things going strong in 2014 with the Bugg tour and more new music.
