MusiCares Announces Charity Auction For COVID-19 Relief

Whether they're artists, crew or management, MusiCares is continuing to look for ways to support people across the music industry in their time of need.

The non-profit's latest effort is a charity relief auction with Julien's Auctions coming January 31.

The auction's stage includes musical memorabilia of all types, donated by artists from all genres and all corners of the globe to provide aid to music people devastated by COVID-19.

"Partners like Julien's Auctions allow MusiCares to continue to support musicians and industry professionals with our relief efforts," said Laura Segura, Executive Director of MusiCares.

Some highlights from the auction include a black embroidered jacket worn by David Lee Roth during his 2007-2008 reunion tour with Van Halen; Korean pop superstars BTS's pastel-colored outfits from their 2020 "Dynamite" hit music video (which has been viewed close to 800 million times on YouTube); Bob Dylan's signed Mondo Scripto print with handwritten lyrics of "Like a Rolling Stone"; a "No Time To Die" single cover lithograph signed by Billie Eilish, FINNEAS and Daniel Craig; a blue suit worn by Pete Townshend during The Who's 2019 Hollywood Bowl and Wembley Stadium Concerts; and musical instruments signed by the likes of Kenny Chesney, Joe Walsh, Nikki Sixx and others.

The auction takes place on Sunday Jan. 31 in Beverly Hills and online at Julien's Auctions website, with advance bidding open now. For more details and to register, go here.

Since March 2020, MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief has distributed more than $22 million to help more than 24,000 music people across the industry.
