Via consequenceofsound.net. Bad enough that we all have to live the way we do in Quarantine 2020, but the most vulnerable of all, the seniors, have had it the toughest. Locked away from loved ones, isolated from the outside world, there's only so much TV you can watch at an extremely loud volume.
A nursing home in Edgware, England, found a rocking way for their residents to get creative and stay connected. Activities coordinator Robert Speker at Sydmar Lodge came up with the idea of recreating classic album covers by David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash and more.
As you can see, these are pretty accurate recreations, and they've become such a hit, a GoFundMe page was started to purchase more activities for the care home’s residents. He wrote, “As this situation is on-going it could be months before the situation changes for them and the need to keep them happy entertained and full of spirit has never been more crucial.”
