This week, a TikTok account going by @deeptomcruise began posting video clips of Tom Cruise golfing, telling a joke, and doing a magic trick, only it wasn't Tom Cruise.
When people first started making fake videos of celebrities it was pretty easy to tell from the waxy looks and robotic facial expressions, but damn! These are scary good. Fake Tom is doing his maniacal laugh perfectly, but he looks a lot taller and younger than the 58 year old Hollywood star. Celebrities must be worried about what deep fake will pop up of them, especially as the technology improves even more.
