It's so great to be getting concert news! Today, Genesis announced they're doing a tour of North America for the first time in 14 years.
"The Last Domino?" reunion tour opens in Chicago November 15th, before wrapping up at TD Garden in Boston December 15th. Phil Collins will be joined by original members Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, and Phil's son Nic Collins on drums. I saw Phil Collins play Hyde Park in London a few summers ago, and his back has gotten so bad, he was forced to sit in a chair at the front of the stage while his son handled the drumming. Phil's voice sounded great and his son is an excellent drummer.
Tickets for Genesis, December 15, 2021 at the TD Garden go on sale to the general public May 7th. There's a presale through Ticketmaster Verified Fan on May 5th. Ticket master says The Verified Fan program aims to create a safe and reliable ticket-buying experience. It helps ensure that tickets get into the hands of real fans first. Fans must register for access between now and Sunday, May 2 at 11:59 pm ET. If verified and selected, fans can secure their tickets beginning Wednesday, May 5, at 10 am ET.
